How to Measure Yourself for a Saree Blouse
Most sarees come with an unstitched blouse piece (usually 80-90 cm of
fabric). You will need to get it stitched by a tailor. Use the
following measurements for a perfect blouse fit:
Key Measurements: Bust, Waist, Shoulder, Armhole,
Blouse Length
-
Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your
chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
-
Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your
waist (usually above the belly button).
-
Shoulder Width: From one shoulder edge to the other
(where the blouse armhole will sit).
-
Blouse Length: From the shoulder point down to
where you want the blouse to end (typically 14-16 inches for
standard blouses).
-
Armhole Circumference: Around the arm at the armpit
level.
-
Sleeve Length (if desired): From shoulder to elbow
or wrist.

Tips for Ordering Sarees Online (via Daraz)
-
Check the product description for exact length and
width. Some sellers offer extra-long sarees (6+ yards) for taller
women.
-
Read customer reviews – many buyers mention if the
saree runs short or long.
-
For readymade blouses, compare the seller's size
chart with your own measurements. When in doubt, size up (blouses
can be altered down).
-
Unstitched blouse pieces are standard – you can
give them to your tailor along with your measurements.
-
Return policy: Daraz usually allows returns within
7 days if the saree doesn't fit, as long as tags are intact and it's
unused.
Still unsure about size? Most Daraz sellers provide
detailed measurement guides. You can also message the seller directly
through Daraz for specific questions about a saree's dimensions.
